he average Estate Agent has 50 properties on its books for sale at any time and sells one property per week. So you could say you have a 1 in 50 chance of selling your property this week.

You might think that if a property sells every week and there are 50 properties for sale it would take nearly a year to sell yours. But not every property listed for sale is sold, and good evidence reveals that around a third of properties are withdrawn from the market unsold in current conditions.
